Worton Jackson chairs the firm’s Bankruptcy/Restructuring and Corporate Transaction Groups. For more than 30 years, she has represented lenders, debtors, committees, creditors and purchasers. Linda has tackled all phases of bankruptcy litigation and Chapter 11 and 7 bankruptcy proceedings in cases all over the country.
Worton Jackson joined the firm in February 2017 as a named partner. In 2019, she successfully restructured in excess of $34 million in debt for a real estate venture, as well as reorganizing the corporate owner of the real estate. She currently represents one of the largest creditors in litigation against Bethune-Cookman University based on a real estate financing transaction. She continues to obtain rapid results for clients in a variety of complex finance-based transactions and litigation.
